First street and downtown seems over painted with many remodeled Victorian house. One block away clay st you will see the reality. 

 Great ambiance, great service. Food just so so. Probably we are the only table coming here purely for food. 

  A fleeting glimpse of Ruby Mountains/  dubbed the Swiss Alps of Nevada over Elko city.  A single night spent in a city you might only grace with your presence once in a lifetime.

Castle in the sky mirrors the spectrum of my emotions.  Also reminds me a special road trip many years ago. A lament, an eternal sorrow for the lost. But the past can’t weigh me down. I have let it go, setting my sights on the distant horizon. I’m doing good, and hope you too. 

 Himalayan/ Nepalese cuisine, very close to North Indian cuisine.  But they do have something influenced by Chinese: dumplings, called momos, the vegetarian dumplings made by cabbage, ginger, sesame oil and almost authentic Chinese version (and the looks too). They also have chow mein.
